ABOUT PILATES AT HBC
Improved core strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and weight loss! A fitness program that includes Pilates can help you to reach your health and fitness goals.
Reformer or Mat – Which is best for you?
Harbor Bay Club offers group Mat Classes, Small Group Reformer classes, and Private Training throughout the week.
We recommend that you try both! They are equally effective and students who participate in both Mat and Reformer classes find that their work on the Reformer enhances their Mat practice and vice versa.

PROGRAMS & CLASSES
MAT WORK
For Members and Non-Members!
“Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.” ~Joseph Pilates
Experience a balanced, strong, aligned body.
Pilates mat classes help to improve muscle control, flexibility, coordination, strength and muscle tone. Building core strength is integral to supporting a healthy back and preventing injury.
By emphasizing proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment, and concentration on smooth, flowing movement, students become acutely in tune with their body.
All Pilates Mat classes are 60-minutes long and are free to members.
REFORMER CLASSES
For Members and Non-Members!
Our Pilates Small Group Reformer Classes offer all the famous benefits of Pilates including overall strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. These benefits in turn lead to daily life improvements like better posture, graceful, efficient movement, and for many, relief from pain associated with physical imbalances such as back pain.
We offer a variety of classes to meet the needs of all our members. Class types offered may change at any time. Classes range from 3-6 students to ensure personalized cuing and instruction from our certified Pilates instructors. Classes are held in our Pilates Studio.
We request that students who have never done Reformer sign up for private sessions so they can be assessed and placed in the appropriate level.
