Pool and Hot Tub Rules

WHEN NO LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY, State Law requires that children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult while using the swimming pool and/or hot tub. When lifeguards are on duty, they will be clearing the pool and outdoor hot tub of children under the age of 14 every hour on the hour for 10 minutes. Thank you for your cooperation.

POOL and hot tub RULES

When lifeguards are on duty, they will be clearing the pool and outdoor hot tub of children under the age of 14 every hour on the hour for 10 minutes. This will be a reminder for the children to use the restroom, re-hydrate and reapply sunscreen. It is mandatory that the children leave the pool and hot tub area. Adults and children in swimming lessons will not be required to get out of the pool.

  1. When there is NO lifeguard on duty, children under age 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over age 18) in the pool and/or in the hot tub at all times. This is a California State Law as well as a Club rule.
  2. When lifeguards are on duty: Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult (over age 18) to use the swimming pool and/or hot tub.
  3. Hanging, sitting, or playing on the lane lines is prohibited.
  4. Glass containers are prohibited from pool and/or hot tub.
  5. All swimmers must wear appropriate swim attire while in the pool. Cutoffs and/or T-shirts, basketball shorts, etc. are prohibited.
  6. Running, pushing, shoving, splashing, rough play, balls, frisbees, water- guns or other toys are prohibited in or around the pool and/or hot tub.
  7. Absolutely NO DIVING is allowed.
  8. Water wings, noodles, tubes, air mattresses and boats are not allowed in the pool and/or hot tub. Kick boards and pull floats are allowed in lap lanes for swimming purposes only.
  9. Children requiring the assistance of floatation devices are only allowed to wear U.S. Coast Guard approved floatation devices. Children wearing floatation devices must have an adult in the water with them at all times.
  10. Children in diapers must be wearing a swim diaper at all times when in the pool and/or hot tub.
  11. Swimmers must shower before entering the pool and/or hot tub.
  12.  No food or gum allowed in the pool and/or hot tub.
  13.  All swim lanes are by online reservation only.
  14. No Alcoholic beverages are allowed in pool and/or hot tub.

Failure to adhere to any of the above rules or additional rules posted in the pool area will result in expulsion from the pool area for the remainder of the day. Only one (1) warning will be given.

The safety of your children is the primary concern of our staff. When there is no lifeguard on duty, we would appreciate parent cooperation in following these rules.
