HBC’s outdoor 25 meter pool is located on the bay-side of the Club’s 10-acre property with a beautiful view overlooking San Francisco on the Bay and Alameda’s main island beach shoreline. The pool is heated to an average temperature of 82 degrees and is open year round for lap swimming, family swim (All individuals participating in Family Swim must be an active member, and all guests ages 6 and above are required to pay the applicable guest fee. Please see guest policy for more details), lessons, and classes. The Pool reservation hours:
- Weekdays (5:00am – 9:30 pm)
- Weekends (7:00 am – 7:30 pm)
When there is NO lifeguard on duty, children under age 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over age 18) in the pool and/or in the hot tub at all times. This is a California State Law as well as a Club rule. See HBC Pool Rules for more information.
