Our teen certification program is unlike any other. We are here to better orient our young members in the importance of exercise in a healthy lifestyle and to teach them the proper usage of the exercise machines and facility etiquette. This is our way of helping to fight childhood obesity.
Each member completing the course will receive a certificate of completion, which will allow 12 to 15 year olds use of the facilities unattended between 3pm to closing, Monday through Friday and 11am to closing on Saturday & Sunday. Summer and Holiday hours are 11am to closing. Your teen’s training will include basic Anatomy, Nutrition, Exercise Technique, Program Design, and Gym Etiquette. After they have completed the program, your child will feel more confident and better equipped with the knowledge they need to live a healthy lifestyle.
The teen certification program is complimentary to our members and consists of 4 one-hour sessions through the instruction of one of our Certified Trainers, Janet Crandall. This is an ongoing educational program. Sessions are held on Mondays & Wednesdays at 4:30pm during the first 2 weeks of each month. If you wish for your child to enjoy the benefits of our gym sooner, you may also have them complete the program with 2 paid personal training sessions with any one of our spectacular trainers.
