The Spa at Harbor Bay provides the Northern California San Francisco Bay Area a vacation in your own back yard. Your day at the Harbor Bay Club won’t be complete until you have experienced the soothing touch from a Facial, a stress relieving Massage, Aroma therapy, Waxing, Threading, a Manicure or Pedicure, Teeth Whitening, or one of our other therapeutic services. After spending a day by the pool or working out, the comfort and pleasure of our Day Spa Services can do wonders for your health and outlook. Please make all of you appointments for the Spa at Harbor Bay by clicking on “Book a Spa Appointment” or by calling the Spa Shoppe at (510) 521-5416 ext 125.

Special Amenities

Men’s and Women’s Spa locker rooms are equipped with key lockers, whirlpool, steam, sauna, showers, and personal amenities. Our Spa waiting room is set in a peaceful setting. Robes and lockers are provided for guest use while at the Spa at Harbor Bay.

Children’s Center

Our Children’s Center is available to all clients during Spa Services for a small fee. Call 521-5416 ext. 115 to make a reservation for your child. Please allow 15 minutes after dropping off your child to check in for your appointment.

Gift Certificates

Give the ultimate gift of wellness. We have gift certificates for treatments or products. Best of all, call us with a credit card and we can mail the certificate with a personalized greeting.

Gratuity

Gratuities are appreciated and are solely at your discretion.

Skin Care Products

Our facial treatments are done with Dermalogica and MD Formulations. We carry these two wonderful product lines, along with Colorscience Mineral makeup, for your home care in our Pro Shop.

Our Treatments

Our therapeutic treatments are tailored to meet your individual needs, targeting specific concerns. Please let us know in advance of special conditions staff should be aware of.

Appointments

We suggest making appointments in advance, Credit card guarantee required.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to appointment will be charged full price of service.

Check-in

We encourage you to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to your appointment, so you can shower, enjoy the whirlpool, steam, sauna or just relax. Arriving early will allow you to enjoy each wonderful minute of your treatment. Remember that treatments begin and end on time so that the next guest isn’t delayed.

Guest Package Offer

If a nonmember guest of the Harbor Bay Club has two services on the same day totaling at least $100, they will have unlimited use of our fitness center for the day. You may choose from any of our group exercise classes, yoga, Pilates mat classes, a gym workout, or swimming. Or just relax by the pool for the day. You will have a guest pass waiting for you in the Spa Shoppe for the day. Just mention the “Guest Package” to our Spa Shoppe when you make your reservations.

* Any fee bases classes may be attended at the guest fee rates.

HBC Summer Camp 2010

Summer Camp Registration forms are available now! You can also print out a brochure and fax or mail it in to the Harbor Bay Club. Our mailing address is 200 Packet Landing Road, and our fax number is 510-521-5535. This year, there will be a special Members only registration time from February 16-March 1st. Early Bird pricing will be available at that time through March 23rd. Registration opens to the general public on March 1st and Early Bird pricing will be available through March 23rd. Every week of our popular camps sold out last summer, so take advantage of this opportunity to get the dates that you need for camp and to receive the Early Bird discount. Please remember that any child over the age of 6 must be an active Harbor Bay Club member in order to receive the member price for camp and to take advantage of the Member only registration time.

Give your hands and feet the attention they deserve. Our pedicure chairs are state of the art with Shiatsu Massage and pipeless spa, allowing complete disinfection between each client. Our SpaRitual color polishes and elixirs are organic, vegan and non-toxic, free of toluene, formaldehyde and DBP. They use vegan ingredients from around the world, including many specially sourced and selected plan essences that are wildcrafted and organic. The formulations are naturally colored and free of synthetic dyes.

HBC Kids Club

The mission of HBC KIDS CLUB 2009-2010 is to provide an educational, active and fun experience for your kindergarten through sixth grade child. Harbor Bay Club offers a safe, healthy, and well supervised environment for kids to play and learn. Each child will meet new friends and participate in a variety of activities. During their fun-filled days at KIDS CLUB 2009-2010, your child will have an opportunity to engage in organized sports andphysical activities, attend enrichment classes, develop good study habits, and learn about such things as health, fitness and safety. Our professionals have created a unique program full of mental and physical stimulation where your child will gain confidence, learn independence skills and discover the fun of learning. Give your child an experience they can build on and use their entire life!

Kids’ Club is Harbor Bay Club’s popular after-school program for children grades K-6. Children from Amelia Earhart (grades K-5) and Bay Farm (grades 1-5) Schools are picked up by our staff and brought back to our beautiful facility for snack, homework time and various activities. We are currently accepting enrollment for all grades and students from schools other than Earhart or Bayfarm are welcome for drop-off at 3:15pm. This program is available to both members and nonmembers. Kids’ Club hours are: school dismisal – 6:30pm. We offer 1-5 days a week of care. REGISTRATION BEGINS MAY 4 AT 9 AM!

Waterfront View

The first floor’s main reception room features a wall of windows facing the water. The foyer is comprised of two-story, sky-lit atrium, a banquette room overlooking the water, and a large central fireplace. This arrangement is ideal for creating an intimate ambiance for hors d’oeuvres and mingling. Corporate meetings work very well in this space.

Beautiful Mezzanine

The second story mezzanine encircles the atrium. This space is especially lovely for daytime events and parties. The central skylight and four dramatic arched windows flood the space with natural light. Monday through Friday evenings you can lounge in front of a cozy fire, take in sunsets an city views from the deck, or enjoy sporting events on one of nine television sets while having a snack or meal in our Bar and Grill.

BBQ & Picnic Areas

For those seeking an outdoor experience, we also offer a large barbecue facility with picnic tables and a lawn area. This is ideal for casual entertaining. Our sports-minded guests can enjoy swimming, volleyball, basketball, and other activities.
