Welcome to Harbor Bay Club Aquatics, the best (and only) place for Alameda fun & fitness in the pool all year long!

HBC’s pool is located with a beautiful view overlooking San Francisco on the Bay and Alameda’s main island beach shoreline. The average temperature of the pool is 82 degrees.  We offer a variety of programs throughout the year for all ages and swim skills, members and non-members alike, with an emphasis on family and youth programs during the Summer months.  All of our classes are taught by highly qualified, experienced instructors that are Red Cross certified.

Year-round programs:

  • Come work out with the Masters Swim Team, a fun group of swimmers of all ages and skill levels who will welcome you and share a great workout 3 mornings per week on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Our 2009 Pacific Masters Coach of the year Linda Gilchrist is an excellent coach, dedicated to giving you a great workout as well as continued stroke instruction.  Offered year round.
  • Aqua Aerobics, an excellent low-impact exercise choice for all levels of fitness, is offered 3 days a week. This one hour class combines stretching, cardiovascular work, and water walking performed to music, a great cardio and resistance training work out.
